Toronto Brass with guest Soloist Nicky Abkiewicz

Nicky Abkiewicz is the current New Zealand National Tenor Horn champion and has previously won the Australian National Tenor Horn title on multiple occasions. She has also won the New South Wales solo Champion of Champions event six times. 

She is a founding member of Sydney City Brass and was a featured soloist in ‘Women in Brass” in 2024, a band that showcases the top female brass players from across Australia. In 2023, she was the only Australian player to be named as part of the 4barsrest brass band of the year. 

Nicky studied Music Education at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and currently teaches Music and conducts bands at the Meriden School"
